about

Ananse was very sure that he was the most clever person in the world. He was not just content to think this, oh no, no, no! He wanted everyone to agree with him.

In fact, he wanted Nyankupong, the supreme god, to announce to the whole world that Ananse was the wisest person alive. When Nyankupong would not do it without proof, Ananse goes on a quest to get the proof.

So, is he indeed the most clever?
